Roasted Chickpeas

 

 

DIRECTIONS

Wash chickpeas in a strainer, and then blot them dry with paper towels.

 

In a plastic bag, toss chickpeas with olive oil, and season to taste.

Try any or all of these seasonings:
salt

garlic powder

lemon pepper

Parmesan cheese

cayenne pepper

 

Spread on a baking sheet, and bake at 400 F until browned and crunchy,
approximately 40 minutes.

 

 

YALE'S TIPS

Test 'em after 35 minutes to decide when to stop baking.
Crisp is nice, but just beyond crisp they get really hard.
