4 pitas, whole-wheat, large
4 teaspoons olive oil, extra virgin
1 teaspoon oregano, dried
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Split each pita round into two layers by cutting along the outside edge.
Brush the face up side of each round with olive oil.

other seasonings, such as cinnamon and sugar.
Cut each single-layer round into quarter wedges.
You can do this easily with a pizza cutter.
Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly golden.
Allow to cool and enjoy alone or with a dip.
